Breakfast: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in camp or take your breakfast to go. With steaming hot coffee available for all our guests, just grab a cup and enjoy the sunrise. Breakfast will be available for pick up in reception between 7 AM and 9:30 AM.

Lunch: You can also purchase picnic lunch from the property to eat at the tent or take to go. Reception area has water for refilling water bottles.

Dinner: Choose to BBQ near your tent or dine in Moab at one of the town's great restaurants.

How Do I Get There?

Airport: Nearest major airport is Salt Lake City International Airport. From there it is about a 3.5–4 hour drive.

Once you are in Moab, travel south on Hwy 191, 18.9 miles or near mile marker 138. Turn east, or left, into Moab Under Canvas. If you pass the Shell Station, you have gone too far.  

We are .6 miles south of Willow Springs Road.

Moab can get extremely hot during the summer months, June–August. Although this is the peak visitation time for the region, it is also the hottest. Visit during April and May or September and October for cooler weather.

Insider Tips

  • Bathrooms: The bathrooms are in a separate tent next to your accomodations. They are luxury bathrooms with hot running water, showers, flushing toilets, sinks and spa products. Safari and tipi tents share bathrooms, the other have their own.

  • Moab, Utah, is home to multiple National Parks and the famous Colorado River. Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado River are very popular for activities and sightseeing.
