Pomp Restaurant: The cuisine at Pomp can best be described as refined rustic ranch—culinary innovations created by world-class chefs in an elegant atmosphere.

Trough: This restaurant offers more of a Western flair, with hand-cut meats, local vegetables and an exquisite menu.

Tank: Full-service bar with spectacular views and TVs

Chuck Wagon: Take a fine-dining experience out in the wilderness with a horse-drawn wagon for a tour of the Blackfoot River and an amazing fireside dinner.

  • Reservation and Cancellation Policy

    Rates are based on availability, subject to change and are not valid with any other promotion. All reservations are subject to a 60-day cancellation policy. To confirm your reservation, a two-night deposit is required. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. For reservations canceled more than 60 days prior to arrival, we will refund your full deposit, less a 10% (of the deposit amount) transaction fee. Your full deposit amount is nonrefundable for cancellations made within 60 days prior to your arrival. Within 60 days prior to your arrival, no rate adjustments will be made for the cancellation of a portion of your reserved stay or a reduction in the size of your party. Reservations made within 60 days prior to arrival must be 100% prepaid at the time of booking. Because of our small size, cancellations or rescheduling of dates affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation or date change gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location. For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. The Resort at Paws Up highly recommends you purchase trip insurance from your local travel agent or your insurance provider.

The Resort at Paws Up is located 35 minutes northeast of Missoula, Montana, in Greenough—a little town nestled in the heart of the Blackfoot Valley. Paws Up is a ranch resort located on 37,000 acres of pristine Montana wilderness. Ten miles of the Blackfoot River flow right through our property. It's truly, The Last Best PlaceTM.

Transportation: The rates include one round-trip transfer from/to Missoula International Airport (a $150 value) per home or tent and all daily on-property transportation.

North Bank

Perched on a picturesque, rocky, timbered bluff overlooking the legendary Blackfoot River, North Bank Camp offers a luxurious retreat into the Montana wilderness. It's the only camp on the north bank of the river, and every tent has a riverfront location, with a spacious furnished deck suspended over the slope to afford inspiring Big Sky views. The camp can accommodate families and larger groups with two-bedroom and three-bedroom tents. North Banks dining pavilion is themost expansive, featuring a stone fire place, bar seating and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The Cliffside Camp features four two-bedroom tents and two one-bedroom tents. Situated right on the banks of the Blackfoot River, these tents include camping bulters, chefs, en-suite bathrooms and 600 to 975 square feet of luxury safari tents and tons of amenities.

Insider Tips

  • Montana's best-preserved ghost town is at a short 20 minute drive away from the resort. Walk the streets of an abandoned 1900s town. The Garnet Ghost Town Tour is available for all ages, children 3 and youger visit for free.

  • Each camp includes personal butlers and concierges. They can take you on tours, grab you a bite to eat, go fishing with you and do just about anything else you would need.

  • The Resort at Paws Up is one of the original pioneers of "glamping" in the United States. To this day, we maintain some of the most luxurious glamping tents in the entire country.
