How Do I Get There?

It is recommended flying into either Santo Domingo Las Americas (SDQ) or Samana El Catey (AZS). Samana (AZS) is the closest, but is not currently supporting flights to or from the USA. Santo Domingo (SDQ) is much larger and offers a greater variety flights from a number of carriers, but requires further travel upon arrival in the country.

From Santo Domingo (SDQ):

Santo Domingo (SDQ) is a much larger airport than Samana El Catey (AZS) and offers a greater variety of flights from a number of carriers, but requires further travel upon arrival in the country. Taxi service to the treehouse can be arranged for you and costs $125 dollars for up to 4 passengers 1 way.  It is a 3-hour taxi ride from Santo Domingo. It is recommended looking at flights through both airports to see what is best for you based on where you are traveling from.

Taxi service must be requested a minimum of 3 days in advance.

From Samana El Catey (AZS):

If traveling internationally, flying into Samana International Airport (AZS) is the closest and easiest way to get to the treehouse. Samana (AZS) is the closest, but is not currently supporting flights to or from the USA. Flights direct to Samana are often limited and more expensive than flying into Santo Domingo (SDQ). Taxi service to the treehouse can be arranged for you and costs $85 USD for up to 4 passengers. It is a 1-hour taxi ride from the Samana Airport.

Taxi service must be requested a minimum of 3 days in advance.

If neither of the above airports works for you or your dates, it might be worth considering a flight into Punta Cana International. Taxi service from Punta Cana to the treehouse can be arranged for you and costs $300 and takes 4 hours.

Deep in the lush jungle of the Samana province in the Dominican Republic, a grove of trees has been transformed into a paradise retreat. A large eco-lodge, crafted from local materials, is centered on the property and surrounded by 22 open-air treehouse cabins with an abundance of inviting gathering sites. The lodge itself is a magical place – an idyllic setting for a wedding, yoga retreat, or other special event, with a full bar and catering kitchen where guests will partake in hearty, family-style meals.

Each cabin is perched high above the jungle floor, enclosed by curtains and a well-built railing, furnished with a plush queen bed and soft white sheets. You’ll find hand-woven adornments and furnishings along with hanging chairs begging you to relax and bury yourself in a good book. The entire property is connected by pathways and is abundant with organically grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Every detail has been attended to and you’ll find that this is a place that was built to allow for both harmony and excitement. Great efforts were made to ensure that the developments were as environmentally friendly as possible.
