How Do I Get There?

By Air

The easiest way to get to Bocas del Toro is to fly Air Panama from Panama City. 

The villas are located 25 minutes via boat from the quaint Caribbean town of Bocas del Toro, Panama. 

Local hosts will be waiting for you at the airport to take you shopping for provisions, then to the dock where you will enjoy a short boat ride across the bay to the villas.  Upon arrival you will be welcomed by staff and given a tour of the property and amenities. Airport transfers round-trip are included as part of your stay. 

By Land: 

Overland travelers will meet our local hosts at the Terpel over the water gas station in Almirante. After shopping for provisions,  you will enjoy a short boat ride across the bay to the villas. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by staff and given a tour of the property and amenities. Overland transfers round trip are included as part of your stay.

Casa and Casita del Mar are Eco over the water villas built on the Caribbean sea in Dolphin Bay in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Panama. The villas are situated on a mile long coral reef in a remote location on the island of Cristobal. 

The goal is to offer guests an intimate experience with nature where you can relax in comfort while at the same time, minimizing the impact on the environment through off grid living. 

The villas are situated on lush acres of private jungle, Casa del Mar features a thatched tree house to enjoy the birds and wildlife. Both homes have direct access to miles of great hiking trail with orchards, jungle treks and hilltop lookouts over the bay.

Inside Scoop

  • September and October are beautiful months to visit, with usually the calmest seas.

  • The well stocked open plan kitchens feature granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry. Guests can either cook for themselves or hire our local cook to prepare delicious Caribbean meals in the villa. There are a handful of wonderful restaurants in the bay that are a short 5 minute boat ride away.
