The nearest airport is O.R. Tambo International Airport (ORT). Guests can arrange private transfer through MORE reservations. You will be met at the airport and transferred in an air conditioned vehicle by Ilios Travel. Vehicles used are either a luxury Mercedes Benz C Class or an SUV. The distance to Marataba Safari Lodge is 270 kilometres and is estimated to take 3.5 hours.
Please DO NOT follow your GPS to Marataba. Many of the prescribed roads are not navigable in a normal vehicle. Following GPS co-ordinates can result in getting lost in the middle of the bush, or un-necessary delays of up to 4 hours.
