Rio Chirripo is a Costa Rican rainforest yoga retreat that offers luxury lodging by the river. Start the day with a plunge in the river; it really helps to energize you for the whole day. From the river it’s a short walk to the yoga room for the morning session. Later, have a seat in the dining room that overlooks the river and jungle and watch the birds make their morning rounds. Listen to the river and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells. Have a glass of fresh orange juice or a cup of our local organic coffee.

Today is a great day to explore the trails in this beautiful country of mountains and rivers, hiking to waterfalls and bird watching. Take a tour of an organic coffee farm, a local family’s biodynamic cheese factory or an art gallery—or hike to the natural hot springs.

Lunchtime has arrived with a salad picked from our organic gardens, accompanied by fresh vegetarian dishes.

After the day’s workshop session is over, relax in a comfy chair in the rancho or head to the pool and hot tub overlooking the river.

Consider a massage from one of the local massage angels.
