Mt Gold

  • Sleeps: 1 - 2
  • Bath: 1
  • Rooms: 1

This site is located atop a steep hill where a moderate level of fitness is required, but it is well worth the 10–15 minute walk up for the amazing 180 degree views across the lake from Treble Cone to Mt. Gold. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away from here. This site is nestled in amongst wilding pines, so it is sheltered but has incredible views, and we have decorated the tent in a bright and cheerful Summer Art Deco theme.

Wilding Pines

  • Sleeps: 6+
  • Bath: 1
  • Rooms: 1

This site epitomises the Central Otago landscape—a touch of the natural and a dose of the influence of man. Nestled amongst a sheltering grove of wilding pines, it's typically dry and golden underfoot. From the parking, walk an easy three to five minutes up to your wonderfully private glamping site; you can see for miles, but the world can’t spot you. The view here, across the lake to the peninsula and Mt. Gold, is glorious.

$460/night for 4 guests + $26/night per extra person up to 8 guests.

This site has 3 lotus belle tents and a tree hammock tent.
