From the Village of Chama, New Mexico, travel south on Hwy 84 about 9 miles; turn left (east) on SR 512. Just past the 5 mile marker, turn right on Fishtail Rd, a gravel road through a red pipe gate. Stay right at the fork in the road; stables are on the left just before you get to the river.
We are 90 miles north of Santa Fe. Take Hwy 84 all the way past the yellow flashing light at Tierra Amarilla, about 5 miles farther turn right on SR 512, travel 5.1 miles east and see directions above.
From Taos, New Mexico, travel Hwy 64 west—a beautiful drive across a mountain pass through the Carson National Forest. It takes about 1 hour and 15 min to arrive at the junction of 64/84; turn right and travel about 5 miles north on Hwy 64/84. Turn right on SR 512; travel 5.1 miles east and see directions above.
