The dishes are traditionally rural, using products from the region. Mangalica pigs, Racka sheep and the Hungarian steppe cattle are raised through nomadic animal husbandry, and fruits and vegetables come from ecological agriculture. Marinated meat called bödönöshùs is one of our specialities. On request, we cook in the cauldron over an open fire. This is called bogrács, and the traditional fish soup halászlé is prepared in this way. We cook vegetarian and also gluten free. Fruit juices à la maison and wines from the region complete the culinary pleasures of the Lodge.
