Koesterfontein Glamping Farm is a family-owned, 21-acre farm set in the tranquil countryside. It offers a comfortable, self-catering glamping tent and farmhouse with lovely views just 10 km from the small town of Magaliesburg. Magaliesburg is situated below the Witwatersrand mountain range in Gauteng, South Africa. The Magaliesberg mountain range is north and visible from town, hence the name "Magaliesburg.” Burg is the Afrikaans word for "Town," whereas berg means "mountain." Magaliesburg is home to one of the oldest mines in Gauteng. Gold was discovered at the Blaauwbank Mine more than 100 years ago.

Guests have access to a splash pool surrounded by a deck with braai facilities. From here, guests can relax and enjoy the lovely surrounding garden, beautiful views and birdlife. More ambitious visitors may go for a bike ride, hike or climb the property’s small hill and watch as the sun sets.

Book early as Koesterfontein is often reserved for weeks in advance.
