  • Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Due to a short resort season, a 50% deposit is taken at time of booking, with the balance due 90 days prior to arrival.  If cancellation is received and confirmed 91 days or more prior to arrival, a $500 per person cancellation fee applies.  If cancellation is received 0-90 days prior to arrival then the reservation is 100% non-refundable.  Rates are subject to change without notice, at the discretion of the resorts.  The quoted rate, at time of inquiry shall always be considered correct.

As we charter air service for the entire season in advance, unused portions of our all-inclusive packages, including air transportation, are nonrefundable if guests choose to drive to/from Tofino. Guests arriving by car will be provided boat shuttle service to the resort and parking in Tofino. These arrangements must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance of arrival. A $100 CAD per person fee will be charged each way if dispatch of nonscheduled transportation is required.

Cancellations applying to the current season with a $200.00 per person transaction fee are permitted more than 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits on record at that time will be refunded in full less the $200.00 per person transaction fee. If cancellation for the current season is received within 60 days or less of arrival date, all deposits on record are 100% nonrefundable. Rates are subject to change without notice. We strongly recommend that all resort guests purchase travel insurance. A short resort season prevents us from making exceptions to our 60-day policy. Should you or your travel agent require referral, we are happy to recommend an underwriter.

Rates apply for children 12 years old and under, sharing the same tent with parents or assigned, at the discretion of the resort, to one of a limited number of deluxe family and family tents across the boardwalk from ensuite and deluxe tents. These tents may b e assigned as upgrades, or to children, and are priced relative to season, guest age and occupancy levels.

Double occupancy is required during peak season stays. A single occupancy supplement of $600/night applies during shoulder seasons.

Located in the pristine Clayoquot Sound World Biosphere on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Clayoquot Wilderness Resort is an exclusive, 21st-century, safari-style Canadian glamping destination and adventure resort that's great for people of any generation. Your Canadian wilderness vacation comes with five-star cuisine, the spa and great white tents with their fluffy duvets and antiques, but we also offer a deep and meaningful commitment to restoring the land.

From the moment that guests step off the floatplane, to that first glass of sparkling wine, to that hike through old growth forest, the resort staff (and their dogs) are there to offer a guest experience that is restoring to the soul and this beautiful land.

All-inclusive Rates are per person and prices include:  Vancouver-Resort return private seaplane dock-to-dock transfers from YVR South River Terminal, or boat transfer from/to the Village of Tofino on Vancouver Island, horse-drawn wagon shuttle, luxury tented accommodation, all gourmet meals including snacks, alcoholic beverages, candlelit evening turn-down service and all in-room amenities, included guided activities and equipment, fishing, relaxation massage, and unlimited enjoyment of amenity tents and waterfront lounge. Due to the remote location and intimate size of the resort, we offer three, four, and seven night packages exclusively. To accommodate our private floatplane charter schedule, check-in/check-out takes place on Thursdays and Sundays only. This composition allows us to offer a three-night long weekend package, a four-night mid-week package, and the choice of two seven-night packages.
