    Cancellation/Deposit policies:

    For nightly bookings, a one night deposit is due at time of booking. Balance to be paid in full upon check-in. All canceled reservations received 14 or more days prior to arrival are subject to a  $25 service fee. All canceled reservations received 13 days or less prior to arrival are subject to a 100% cancellation penalty.

    For weekly bookings, a 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival. All canceled reservations received 30 or more days prior to arrival are subject to a $25 service fee. All canceled reservations received less than 30 days prior to arrival are subject to a 100% cancellation penalty.

    For all Holiday bookings, a 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival. All canceled reservations received 30 or more days prior to arrival are subject to a $25 service fee. All canceled reservations received less than 30 days prior to arrival are subject to a 100% cancellation penalty.

  • Pet Policy

    Dogs are allowed on certain accommodations on the property. Dogs are the only pets accepted at this time. There is a $30/night per dog fee, with a 2 dog limit. Dogs must be on leash around cabins and public areas. They are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Food bowls and towels are provided for dogs and any damages due to your dog will be charged to your credit card file.

Driving Directions

From Jeffersonville, VT: The property 1.2 miles east on VT 15, then right on Junction Hill Rd (a dirt road) for 1.1 miles. Or go 3 miles south on VT 108, turn left on Edwards Rd, bear left on Cliff Reynolds Road for 2 miles. At the “Y” bear right on Junction Hill Road, 200 yards down on right. Rte 108 is closed from Smugglers Notch to Stowe during the winter.

From the Burlington, VT Airport: As you leave the airport, turn left and go until you get to the traffic light. Turn left onto Route 2 (Williston Road). At the lights at the "Y," just past Earthy Cars, turn left onto Industrial Avenue. Turn left at the end of Industrial Avenue and pick up Route 2A.

Stay on Route 2A until you get to the 5 Corners in Essex Junction. You will want to be in the farthest right lane to pick up VT Route 15 East. Stay right and then continue on Route 15 East until you get into Jeffersonville (about 20 miles). Stay on Route 15 past Tatro’s Construction on the left and the Deer Run Motel on the right, and then you’ll see our sign on the right. Just past Jack Course Fuel Company, turn right onto Junction Hill Road. The property is one mile up the road and the sign and driveway are on the left.

From New York City: (6 hours) Follow the New York Thruway, I-87 N through Albany to Exit 20. Take NY 149 E to Fort Ann. Take Rte 4 through Whitchall to the Vermont border. Look for signs for Fair Haven and Vergennes. Take Rte 22 A North to Vergennes. At that point, take Rte 7 north (not east) to Burlington, and then Rte 189 to 89 north to exit 15 which is Rte 15 east to Jeffersonville. Stay on Rte 15 East for about 28 miles. You will see our tourist sign just before Corse Fuel Co.; take the next right onto Junction Hill Road. The property is one mile up the road on the left.

From New York City—popular route (6 hours) Take I-95 N from New York City to New Haven, Connecticut. Pick up I-91 N through Hartford, Connecticut, through Springfield, Massachusetts, and Brattleboro, Vermont, to White River Junction, Vermont. Pick up I-89 N through Montpelier to Waterbury; then follow the winter or summer directions below.

From Boston (4 hours) Take I-93 N to Concord, New Hampshire. Pick up I-89 N through White River Junction, Montpelier and Waterbury, Vermont. Then follow the winter or summer directions below.

From Montreal (2 hours) Take Champlain Bridge to Hwy 10 E; continue nine miles. Take exit 22 for Hwy 35 S. Hwy 35 S merges with Hwy 133 S in Iberville. Follow this route to the Vermont border; there it turns into VT I-89. Follow VT I-89 S to St. Albans, Vermont. Take exit 19 (second exit for St. Albans) onto VT Rte 104 (SE direction). Follow 104 S through Fairfax to Cambridge; pick up VT Rte 15 E to Jeffersonville. Stay on Rte 15 E; you will see Jack Corse Fuel Co. Take the next right onto Junction Hill Road. The property is one mile up the road on the left.

Seasonal Directions

In Winter: Take Exit 10 off VT I-89 in Waterbury. Follow VT Rte 100 N through Stowe to Morrisville. In Morrisville, pick up VT Rte 15 W through Johnson. Continue another seven miles after the town of Johnson and our tourist sign will be on the right; take the next left turn onto Junction Hill Road. The property is one mile up the road on the left.

In Summer: Take Exit 10 off VT I-89 in Waterbury. Follow VT Rte 100 N to Stowe Village. In Stowe, pick up VT Rte 108 N through Smugglers Notch Pass. Once you are over the mountain, you will pass Smugglers Notch Ski Resort on the right. Keep going. You need to turn right at the SECOND Edwards Rd. You will see a tourist sign. Keep to the left at the fork in the road, you will be on Cliff Reynolds Rd. Stay on the dirt road for two miles. Continue straight at the intersection on Junction Hill Rd. DO NOT TAKE CANYON RD. The property is 300 yards down on the right.

A New England resort located on a scenic country road in northern Vermont. At Sterling Ridge, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside, woods and meadows with stunning vistas of Mt. Mansfield. The property is close to the quaint downtown area of Jeffersonville and just a short drive to Stowe and historic Smugglers Notch pass. Sterling Ridge has private trails for all seasons - great for snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and mountain biking. The resort also has easy access to points of the Long Trail and is only a short drive from the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. In the warmer months, Sterling Ridge guests can also enjoy the in-ground heated pool and large pond for fishing and paddling.

All cabins and houses at Sterling Ridge Resort have fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living/dining areas with a wood stove, gas stove or fireplace, flat-screen TV, Wifi, covered porch, an outdoor grill, and a picnic table. The cabins are also equipped with a primary source of heat (in addition to the wood stove/fireplace) and air conditioning units in the warmer months. All linens, kitchen items, toiletries, and more are included.
